How a project works
Four steps from your first email to launch day.
- 01
Talk
Email me your idea. A screenshot, a sketch or a site you like is a great start. I'll set up a free call to see if it's a fit, and we'll talk about your photos.
- 02
Plan
I send a clear written quote: what's included, what it costs and how long it takes. A 50% deposit starts the work. We also book one short set-up call, where you create your own accounts (like your domain) and invite me. I never need your passwords or card numbers.
- 03
Build
I build it and share a private preview as it comes together. Two rounds of changes are included. Small takes about 1 to 2 weeks, Medium 2 to 3, and Large 3 to 4, once your deposit and content are in.
- 04
Launch
The final 50% is due before your site goes live on your own domain. You get a full copy of your website, ready to put on any host. Hosting and maintenance is its own agreement, with your first month free or $50 off.
- What I need from you
- Your text, your photos sorted into folders, and your logo and ideas for the look. If your photos need sorting, I tell you the cost before I quote. If you'd like me to design the whole look from scratch, that's a separate job, quoted separately.
- Changes and extras
- Two rounds of changes are included. After that, your plan's hours come first, then $80 an hour on a website hosted with me. Any other work is $90 an hour, quoted first.
- After launch
- Hosting is month to month, with 30 days' notice. Your domain stays in your own account. Apps start with a free call and a paid planning session, and are built in stages.
